Fellowship Information
All donations were matched and this fall we named the first fellow recipient, Kyle Baron, Pharm.D.  We received approximately $25,000 in donations, from which the income is matched annually by the University, increasing the amount available for award.  To maintain the endowments current value we

are only able to allocate 4% of the balance each year toward the fellowship. This will maintain the fellowship in perpetuity.

This annual amount of funding in itself will obviously not fund a fellow entirely, so we have decided to use our pool of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology graduate students and then select the fellow from this group of individuals. The term of the fellowship is for two consecutive years so we will name an individual every two years as the Darwin Zaske Fellow in Pharmacotherapy.

Kyle Baron

Our criteria in making our selection are that the individual should have Doctor of Pharmacy training, be pursuing a graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D) in the Department of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology, demonstrate excellence in graduate studies and preference will be given to individuals with an interest in infectious disease or pharmacokinetics. The final selection is made by the ECP Department Head in consultation with the Director of Graduate Studies.

Darwin Zaske Memorial located outside of the elevators on the seventh floor of Weaver-Densford Hall.
